Sport games are generally for sports fanatics, people who play online games look for other interesting elements that make the game fun, perhaps thats why the sports section is not updated too often :)
So when I came across zombie football, a combination of penalty shoot outs and zombie goal keepers you need to kill prior to them reaching out and grabbing you makes the game quite a bit of fun.
As you progress through the levels you get zombie defenders as well, but nothing to fear as bonus balls pack a punch. You can choose when you want your bonus ball to be thrown in and well a head shot does a massive amount of damage. Well your last minute defense that you can use once in each level is a kick in the ba11s, use it wisely XD
But don't underestimate the goal keeper, when hes out to get you hes pretty tough to put down. The game start screen offers you a choice of zombie teams to play against, though the game doesn't have much depth it does offer an interesting amount of game play. Have fun with zombie football!

Npower Cricket Test Series
The Npower Cricket test series is an ancient flash game, Cricket is one of the most played game around the world. India is one country that does not see beyound cricket, football and hockey are played on a lesser extent.
Cricket was brought to the world by the British, although this online cricket game does not involve much of the original game only one aspect of it, thats the batting. Use the arrow keys to bat. Timing is the essence of the game, all you need to do is try to get a high score.
There are ten batsmen and eleven overs in this version of Cricket, post a screen shot of your score if you manage to beat mine in the screen shot above!

Power Pool
Well we have mini pool on this blog, but that is no comparison for this game! Yeah power pool literally kicks butt, this game is nothing like the real game except for the fact that you need to put the ball into the holes.
Apart from that theres nothing ordinary about the game, there is a huge collection of balls that have special powers, like the explosive ball or the cannibal ball that consumes all the other balls it hits.
Theres one that breaks a ball up into three smaller balls, well I can go on talking about the balls. You can also get more cue balls by a series of five pots.
But I think its better if you play power pool, and have a ball of a time of course! Thanks to Ninja Kiwi yet again for twisting a normal game into much more fun!

Cricket Challenge
Twenty20 cricket is the latest craze of the cricketing world, join in the fun with a 15-over match in SABC Sport Cricket Challenge to test your timing and judgment. What will get you runs is your hand-eye co-ordination and ability to smash the ball to the boundary.
Select the two teams from South Africa's domestic teams. The bowler will bowl at varying speeds and lengths, its up to you to select the right stroke.
A small indicator appears at the bottom of the screen to help you choose the correct shot. You can play the classic cut shot with the right arrow key, or pull the ball over square leg with the left arrow key. For a textbook straight drive press the up arrow key and for forward defensive use the low arrow key.
For more powerful shots use the shift key along with the shot you choose to play, but it doesn't assure a well-executed shot. It will take a little while to get used to, but once you get used to the timing the scoring becomes much easier.

I find a dearth of sports games I have scavenged the Internet and have not found too many games especially after searching for a decent cricket flash game and was not able to find one.
Anyway this game is related to Soccer, what you need to do is head the ball so that it can be kept in the air. As you cross a certain a number of points the number of balls increase. I have managed to reach level 5 it gets tricky when the bonus ball appears.
Since the bonus ball gets your attention it becomes rather difficult to manage all the balls in the air. The ball reacts the way it would in real life bouncing the ball on the left of your head will make it bounce to the left, on the right of the head to the right.
So you can try to bounce the balls in a particular direction so they are all straight above your head.

Hardcourt: One on One Basketball
Basketball with a twist that's what Hardcourt is all about, in this one on one game where you can play either against your friend or the computer. This game allows you to customize your player quick start or play in arcade mode.
There is one basket that you need to put the ball into, by pressing the space bar you can either steal the ball or shoot a basket. The tricky part is that you can also whack the other player and he can hit you as well. When you are hit you are stunned for a couple of seconds.
There is a stamina indicator that denotes your energy levels and your speed. When you are on full stamina you can run fast enough, when your stamina is low the players movement becomes extremely sluggish. Although the game is quite simple you end up playing it as it quite a lot of fun
hitting the other player and scoring.

Mini Pool
Its been a while since I updated the sports section with a nice flash game, this game brings back fond memories of more than seven or eight years ago when I used to sip on beer and play pool in the local pool parlor.
Although this game requires you to have an exceptional speed and a little bit of skill, I am quite rusty and just about made it to level two once. The game is fast paced and requires you to pot the pink ball first. Unlike traditional solids and stripes this mini pool game requires you to pot the balls before you run out of time.
So the pink ball has the least amount of time so once you pot it you have the time marked on the other balls. Its easy if you have a hang of playing pool, but the game lacks a speed controller, I think it kind of does it automatically which is not so bad.
The game progresses from level to level as and when you complete one and only requires the mouse to play. Have a ball!

Ever wanted to be a Streaker? Now is your chance run across the rugby field until you are stark naked. The game is good fun especially since its so simple and catchy, until you finish it.
Rugger Bugger Game play:
In Rugger Bugger you need to pick up the pies and beer to build gas for your farts. The Fartometer shows you the level of gas you have. Left click to fart, farting helps you run faster and also stop the players who are chasing you.
You can also run straight into the referee's but watch out for the players coming in from the opposite direction, they usually cause the game to end!
I managed to complete the game, so can you! Although it make take a couple of tries but it will happen! Happy Streaking!

Balls N Walls Objective
The objective of the game is to shoot out the ball in such a way that the opponent is unable to catch it. For every ball the opponent misses, one of the platforms form under the feet disappear.
So you got to get rid of all the platforms, so tat the opponent falls into the hole. There are some power ups with various powers if your balls hits it, the one circled in the in game screenshot splits one ball into two.
